PATTERN

Upper Legs

1 Row: 2 ch, in the 2nd ch from the hook, 6 sc.

2 Row: 6 inc. = 12

3-14 Rows: 12

15 Row: 4 sc, dec, sc, dec = 10

16-21 Rows: 10

Tail

1 Row: 2 ch, in the 2nd ch from the hook, 6 sc.

2 Row: 6 inc. = 12

3 Row: (1 sc, inc)*6 times = 18

4 Row: 18

5 Row: (1 sc, dec)*6 times = 12

Body

(Work from the bottom up)

1 Row: 2 ch, in the 2nd ch from the hook, 8 sc.

2 Row: 8 inc. = 16

3-9 Rows: 16

Make 2 pieces (lower legs), then connect.

In the original version, when connecting, you get 31 sc, and there’s a hole between the lower legs that needs to be sewn… which I don’t really like. In my version, you get 32 sc. I’ll show you how I do it later in the photo. I’ve made a slight change to the pattern, and then follow the instructions from the video tutorial.

10 Row: Connect the pieces as follows: 7 sc on the 1st leg, 16 sc on the 2nd leg, and 9 on the 1st leg.

11-19 Rows: 32

20 Row: (6 sc, dec)*4 times = 28

21 Row: 28

22 Row: (2 dc, dec)*7 times = 21

23 Row: 21

24 Row: (1 dc, dec)*7 times = 14

25,26 Rows: 14

In the original version, it’s like this:

10 Row: Connect the pieces: 7 sc on the 1st leg, 15 sc on the 2nd leg, and 9 on the 1st leg.

11-19 Rows: 31

20 Row: (3 sc, dec)*6 times, 1 sc = 25

21 Row: 25

22 Row: (2 dc, dec)*6 times, 1 sc = 19

23 Row: 19

24 Row: (1 dc, dec)*6 times, 1 sc = 13

25,26 Rows: 13

Head

I crocheted it from the 20th stitch in reverse order.

1-12 Rows: 54 ch, 54 sc in the chain of ch.
