Crochet hook (I use size 1.75 for the toy and size 1.3 for the appliqué). 

Needle for assembling parts. 

Safety eyes (I have ones with secure fastening).

PATTERN

Head (Milk color): 

Row 1: 6 sc in magic ring. 

Row 2: 6 inc = 12 sts. 

Row 3: (1 sc, inc) * 6 times = 18 sts. 

Row 4: (2 sc, inc) * 6 times = 24 sts. 

Row 5: (3 sc, inc) * 6 times = 30 sts. 

Row 6: (4 sc, inc) * 6 times = 36 sts. 

Row 7: 36 sc. 

Row 8: (5 sc, inc) * 6 times = 42 sts. 

Rows 9-10: 42 sc. 

Row 11: 18 sc, 1 ch, 1 sc in the 1st st skipped, 4 sc, 1 ch, 1 sc in the 1st st skipped, 16 sc (we will attach safety eyes with secure fastening in the gaps, if you have different eyes, just crochet 42 sc). 

Rows 12-15: 42 sc. 

Row 16: (5 sc, dec) * 6 times = 36 sts.

Row 18: (4 sc, dec) * 6 times = 30 sts.

Arms (Make 2, Milk color):

Assembly:

Attach the legs between rows 6 and 7 of the body, from the top. 

Attach the arms to the second row from the top. 

Attach the ears about 4 rows apart on each side from the center of the head. 

Sew the tail at about row 8, near the center. 

Stitch around the edge of the slipper using slip stitches with the thread left for this purpose. 

Stitch around the bottom of the slipper with slip stitches using the third row’s purple thread. 

Sew on the eyes between rows 6 and 7 on the head. 

Sew on the bow. 

Attach the heart appliqué to the body.
